Charlize sued for $20 m for breach of a contract - 2008-10-06
Charlize Theron has been sued for $20 million for wearing a Christian Dior watch instead of a Raymond Weil timepiece. The actress, who is a brand ambassador of the Swiss company, has been accused of a breach of a contract after sporting a Dior piece at the US Film Festival. Theron has a deal that specified that she will wear only their watches. “She undercut our entire ad campaign”, Weil’s lawyer, David Jaraslowicz told the press.
Charlize loved being under her boyfrienddirector’s orders - 2008-09-29
Charlize Theron loved taking part in his boyfriend Stuart Townsend’s new movie “Battle in Seattle.” The actress says she enjoyed the experience of beign directed by her beau and director. "It was great. He loved directing and I've never seen him so happy – which hurts my feelings as his girlfriend!" she told People magazine. But a smiling Charlize revealed she didn’t enjoy that much a recent vacation to Fiji, where Stuart was mainly focus on the film, instead of her. “I would be like, 'Romance time!' But he would have a pile of research and I would be like, 'Oh my God, this is so not sexy!' But that passion paid off," she said. Meanwhile, Charlize, who has become an American citizen, has claimed her support to democratic hope Barack Obama. "There's certain things about him that I find truly inspiring. After his speech on race, I emailed a few people I knew who are probably going to vote Republican and suggested that they really listen to that speech," she added.
Charlize wants children, no marriage - 2008-09-22
Charlize Theron reveals she has never been interested in marriage – but she always want to have children. The South-African actress, who has been dating Irish director Stuart Townsend for six years, opened up about her family plans on TV show 'The View'. When asked about getting hitched, the Oscar-awarded said, "I just know I don't want it, Stuart doesn't want it. Why mess with a good thing? "Even when I was little, I never dreamed about walking down the aisle," she added. The 33-year-old beauty however, remarked, "I always wanted to be a mom because I have always had such a close relationship with my own mom." Theron joked, "Okay, let me break it to you, I actually have seven children nobody knows about!"

Charlize Theron blushed when a reporter surprised her with a sleeping arrangements question. “I really like you so much and have a lot of respect for you but I would like to marry you - and I have a question: which side (of the bed) do you prefer to sleep on?" Contactmusic quoted the reporter, as saying. The beautiful actress quickly replied, “The side that you are not on," before she jokingly called out , "Security! Security! Security!" She followed, "You are very cute, but you know my boyfriend will kill you.” “I am married, I am taken, whatever."

Charlize Theron fuelled wedding rumors after she was photographed wearing a ring on her wedding finger. The actress showed off an apparently engagement ring as she hugged her longtime boyfriend actor Stuart Townsend at the 2008 Fashion Rocks in New York City on Friday (September 5).
She grew up in a small
town called Benoni and was a member of the tribe South Soho. She
was born a single child in a very wealthy family. She learned
many of the 28, (twenty-eight!) languages she speaks from the
staff on her parents' farm. When she was 6, Charlize showed her
first signs of what would be her stardom. She began ballet and
considered doing this for a career. She continued dancing and
would eventually go professional in Johannesburg. At the age of
16 she took an offer to begin modelling in Milan, Italy, because
she'd won a local modeling contest.
