David Jaroslawicz, an attorney for the watchmaker, told the magazine: "If you're the model for Ralph Lauren, you can't show up wearing Gucci at the Academy Awards . She undercut our entire ad campaign. We spent a fortune on an ad campaign centered around her. Then she goes off and makes us look silly in the industry by wearing Dior" .




Charlize Theron´s first documentary - 2007-02-06

Charlize Theron, the oscar-winning actress, went to  Good Morning America to talk about her first documentary, East of Havana, that hits exlusive theatres Friday . The keypoint of the political movie is the men and women of Cuba, their life,  their music, and their fight for social justice.  "It's amazing to me how resilient people become; such a love for people who grow up in harsh landscapes," she said. "They naturally have this instinct to survive, no matter what."

Charlize Theron will be listed as the producer of "East of Havana", a documentary about Cuban hip-hop artist. Although it may have no sense at first sight, we understand Charlize’s interest in her SouthAfrican roots and her upbringing in America when she was a model. Giving her name to the film project help the filmmakers: Sauretsi Saizarbitoria and Emilia Menocal to find support for it.

Production Weekly reports that the movie is about a superhero (Smith) who has a distortion of his image because of alcoholism and his crime-fighting methods.
